How to Hide Photos Before Screen Sharing
Sharing your screen on a call, or plugging into a projector? The real risk isn't your camera roll โ it's photo pickers and notifications. Here's how to lock it down.
Get sensitive photos out of quick reach
Photo pickers (in Messages, email, social apps) show your most recent camera-roll photos. Hide anything sensitive first so it can't appear: hide it into the Hidden album, and hidden photos won't show in the main library or standard pickers.
Silence the interruptions
The bigger screen-share risk is a notification banner with a preview. Before you share:
- Turn on Do Not Disturb or a Focus.
- Hide message previews: Settings โ Notifications โ Show Previews โ Never (or When Unlocked).
Nothing to surprise you mid-share
NoodBank finds and hides your private photos in bulk, on-device, so they won't turn up in a picker or preview while you share your screen. Nothing uploaded.

For a big presentation, the safest move is to present from an account or device with nothing personal on it. Short of that, hidden photos plus Do Not Disturb covers the common surprises.
